Event Description

Creating change in our society is never easy, but historically it has been more difficult for women to effect change as they’ve had to confront male dominated social norms, ingrained politics and corporate glass ceilings.

During this TEDxSanDiegoSalon three powerful women will explore the challenges they’ve faced, and overcome, during their careers, as well as provide insights as to the stronger role that women can play in the future.

About TEDxSanDiego
TEDxSanDiego brings together a collection of innovators, explorers, visionaries, teachers and learners, then seeks to illuminate, inspire and activate each of those individuals as a way to foster conversation, collaboration and action. Our vision is to be a forum that encourages and facilitates the unleashing of ideas which have the power to change our world.
As a not-for-profit, volunteer-driven organization, TEDxSanDiego wouldn’t be possible without the efforts and contributions of our many team members, business partners and civic groups who commit their time, passion, financial and intellectual support to creating a remarkable TEDxSanDiego experience.
